Hello everyone, just bought a slightly used 2011 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 access cab. It's the 4cyl. 5 speed manual trans, all stock. Plans for the truck are simple, 3" lift and 33" tires, then lots and lots of beach driving and fishing. I've owned two other Toyotas recently, had a 86 x-tra cab for a while, sold it to raise money to move, then a '84 x-tra cab that I just sold recently. I loved my old school Yotas, especially the '84 with the solid front axle, but they were both old and full of issues, not to mention no a/c. A couple of days ago I traded in my daily driver, a '08 Scion xD, for this '11 Tacoma. I had to have it in the access cab because it reminds me of my old x-tra cabs, and a 5 speed manual behind a 4 cylinder with 4 wheel drive made the truck really feel like a Toyota truck is supposed to in my opinion. I look forward to learning from you all, and sharing my experiences here on this forum.
