Just a quick note to remark how great TW is--as are the people on it!

I have decided to get a 2013 Tacoma DCLB 4x4 Sport & Tow. Probably Pyrite Mica.. Gonna add a SnugTop Hi Liner Sport cap (Hmmm--is there some kind of theme starting here? ) I hope to have it within 2 weeks or so. FYI--I was at the Dealer today and they had about 6 2013's on the lot).

Reason: FUN !! (I hike some and plan on taking it on camping trips). I will also use it as my primary vehicle.

I also have a C5 Corvette (2004) and a 2000 Harley Road King (with 102k miles on it!).

I have some questions (of course) but will ask them in the appropriate Forums).

Gave the Dealer the deposit today... My Taco is due to arrive around Sept 7th.
One was in the pipeline exactly as I wanted: 2013 DCLB 4x4, Pyrite Mica, TRD Sport, Tow Pkg, Carpet Mats/Sill protector, Exhaust Tip, Spare Tire Lock. I'm also ordering a SnugTop Sport Hi Liner cap that will come with tracks for racks (I use Yakima systems).

The only thing I plan on doing immediately is replacing the Dunlops with something a little bigger and also with a bolder tread pattern.

I'll post some pics when it arrives

Picked her up this afternoon. Drove--immediately--to Discount Tire and installed BFG AT's in a 265/70R17 size. One bit of bad news: DT scratched one of my wheels--but they promised to order me a replacement (the installer forgot to take off the factory wheel weight and it "rode" around the rim during install). I hate to think what DT is paying for a new Factory Wheel....

Lovin' it already. And I ordered my cap which will be here in about 3 weeks.
