New Member with headlight issues

I am a new member from NY. While I have been referencing these forums for years, this is my first post because I can't find my answer.

I have a 2002 2wd standard cab Tacoma. I am the original owner with 260K on it and counting.

Problem: Headlight (low beams) will not turn on.
Not too long ago, I was driving at night. I pulled over and turned off the vehicle. A few minutes later I started the truck again, but the headlights would not come on. The high beams operated normally, but neither low beam.
I have since checked and replaced the bulbs. No change.
I also checked the fuses under the hood, and they were fine.

I have scoured the FAQ's and exhausted the search function, but cannot find this specific problem. Any and all advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Look for a ground wire that may be corroded off or pinched or burned wiring. Other than that I'd find another headlight switch (maybe one with only 160,000 miles on it).
