For those that have a Viper already installed... I have a question.

I had a Viper 5704 Remote Start and Alarm installed on my taco today. I have a 2012 base and am trying to figure out if it is wired wrong or if the option doesn't exist to have it unlock like the OEM setting of pax door and on second click all doors.

I went through the setup and changed it to single pulse but it unlocks all doors. I can change it to double pulse but that just sends the unlock command twice. I was under the assumption that if you didn't want to have to push twice to unlock all doors you would use the send two pulse mode. (I have the pop and lock wired into pax door so I was hoping to keep the two press method).

So did the installer just tap into the drivers door instead of pax door, or is this the way the viper 5704 should work anyway?

Hey I have the same thing, Alarm and Taco but was not smart enough to install it my self. I had it installed so quickly that I didn't realize about the double tap feature on the OEM till I started looking into the Pop & Lock systems.

Sorry about the useless post but This way I can benefit also if someone replies
