    "3"

    0.3e0 would be ".3" since 10^0=1
    0.3e1 or 0.3e+1 is 3 since 0.3*10^1=0.3*10=3

    I screwed up earlier and raised 0.3 to the power of 10... that's where I got the small decimal.

    if anybody comes back to this the % is the remainder, like 9/2 would equal 4 with a remainder of 1. So 9 % 2 = 1

    Well I'm not sure how different Matlab is from C++. Its pretty simple really, first define the given variables in the problem like what each color equals and such. Then I would set each unknown to what the problem has it equal, like white=color* yada yada. Then ask the program to show the values asked for.

    Based on my Sql experience it looks like the result values are based in the data types. Here is what I got by plugging in the values.

    White=2*2.5*0.815484549=6.131324 and white is a float.
    Green=2/0.815484549=2.452529606 green is a float
    Orange=2/3=0 b/c orange is an int
    Blue=(2+1)/(-1.3+.3)=-3.000000 blue is a float
    Lime=3/2+3%2=1.5+1=2 green is a int. % is modulus which is the integer remainder after division 3%2=1

    Hope this helps
