Saw online that rear leg room for 2013 access cab is 28.2 inches, and I thought it was 24.? for the 2012. Overall truck length is the same, bed length is the same. Do I have the #'s wrong or is there more leg room in the 2013??

That's strange, the 2013 brochure still says 24.7 for the Access Cab, and 32.7 for Double Cab.

Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
i read, during the expectations of the "redesign", that in the 12 they were gonna make the front seats concave on the back to increase rear room without increase the size of the truck. i thought it was a good idea but i havent heard any follow up so i assumed that it didnt happen, but it may have made it to the 13's
