So, PFD is coming out in a few weeks, and I have determined, after last years snow fall, that I NEED a soft top. Don't want a hard top. What is the best bang for the buck?

I like my softopper mainly because the front window can be removed completely so it's just a canvas "roof". The bestop is solid but I don't like the fact the front window is built into it. Also, there's a lot more canvas involved when the side windows are removed. Softopper's solid sides also prevent wandering eyes from seeing contents.

I want to eventually get the softtopper. I don't have any experience with either but prefer the softtopper for aesthetic purposes. Don't like the side windows on the Best top.

I love my Bestop for the fact that it looks great with or without the windows in place. And the windows are damn near limo tinted so it's very difficult to see inside even with a flash light.

Be warned, the canvas material becomes nearly rock solid in any temperature under 65*

I have a Bestop on my Tacoma and a Softopper on my 85 4runner. I love them both, but I think I would get a Softopper for the Tacoma if I were to do it again, mainly because I would not have to worry about storing the windows when I take them off as opposed to just rolling them up or quickly rolling them down if needed.
