Hello guys, i am super exited just became the owner of a 2007 Tacoma 2bl cab.

(I will post some pictures tomorrow)

I have a question regarding the lift kit that is installed on my truck.

According to the owner it has a 4in Pro Comp lift kit.

I've been trying to find some information regarding that kit but i cannot find much for Gen 2 Tacomas. For Gen 1 tacomas i read something like you have to cut the cross member and once you installed one you cannot go back unless you have another cross member fabricated. Is that true for Gen 2 tacomas as well?

Also what is the difference from this kit to Coil overs for example?

    Thanks!

Best bet would be to post up some pix of your truck/lift.

All drop bracket lifts will require cutting of the cross member 1st and 2nd gen.

Technically yeah... How much lift are you planning to have?

My advice would be to go into the Suspension section and learn every thing there is to know about the different kinds of lifts.

And decide what your uses for the truck will be.
