hesitation accelerating at 50mph, has new plugs and one new coil.Cpould it be the TP

At times, when I try to accelerate from 50 MPH to 60MPH the engine hesitates then I have to wait a few seconds for it to slowly recover.

 

You could make a pretty long list of things it could be.

• I'd start by pulling the plugs, see if any of them are damaged/fowled/burnt, this would point to a problem cylinder if it were only one, perhaps another coil?
• If the plugs look good you might have a timing issue, your truck is just old enough to where sensors might be on the brink of failing, but not so much so that they're throwing a check engine light. Only way to check this is with a good diagnostic reader or laptop plugged into OBD2 port.
• If your timing is good, and the sensors are all within acceptable parameters then it could be something in the fuel delivery system ie; pump, clogged fuel filter, dirty or clogged injector. Easy fixes for this would be to change the filter if you haven't recently, run some good fuel injector cleaner through it see if that helps. If it is an injector you might be able to have it rebuilt, or you may have to replace it.
