Feels like being bumped from behind

    Hello everyone, i'm new to the forum. On my 07 Prerunner it feels like im being bumped from behind after i stop and transmission is in drive. It's driving me nuts. Can someone help me?

    It is the brake system set up in the truck. Perfectly normal. Maybe just a little more brake pressure when at a light especially if the AC is on. I have a 2012 and they still do it. I also had an 06 with the same thing

    Yup my 08 does the same, just got used to when it happens and adjust brake pressure without even knowing it anymore.

    First time that I experienced that I thought a lady behind me at a stop light hit me. Get used to it if you have the A/C or defrost on.

    Yes, the AC kicking on/off can give a little jolt, but also if you have an Auto transmission it happens when you stop and the transmission switch down to 1st gear from whatever high gear it was in before you stopped, and that can cause a little bump as it kicks into place. To check it I have switched into Neutral just before coming to a stop and that eliminated the bump.
