So I am wondering if anyone has tried to make there own box like the one below

    https://www.pro.tuffyproducts.com/p-235-toyota-tacoma-bed-security-lockbox.aspx

I would like to have one of these, but could never justify paying that kind of price for it. But I can get 16 gauge sheet (2'x4)' for like 25 bucks. And I can weld and fabricate a little. I was just wondering if anyone has tried to build ones similar to this and has pictures they could post.

    Thanks

JayS, I have not done this yet, I will be building mine from scratch and should be well below 100.00 Once I do it, I will post a DIY thread.

Oh yeah. The price for 16 gauge metal is cheap. The only other cost would be for the lock. Good luck to you.

I find it hard to believe that with all of these fabricators on here that no one has tried to make anything yet. Someone?
