I'm trying to get some feedback on a new website I am thinking about creating. The concept is that you would come to the site, register for an account, and then go through a step by step wizard that would setup a simple website for your car/cars. You could upload pictures, videos, etc. I think it'd be a cool new way for people to show off their rides in an easy way. Any feedback would be great!

I feel like www.cardomain.com is what your describing.

edit... I didn't want to come across as shutting your idea down, just trying to see if it is the same or different.

Similar, but in a MUCH nicer and cleaner way without the ads.

You'll need ads in order to make money, unless you charge for an account... If you can make a site that is more user friendly then definitely it isn't a bad idea.

I've actually been toying with the idea of just eating the cost. I have the means to host/build it all on my own, so there is really no cost to me other than the domain name each year.
