    Hi, all... My name's Jason, and I own a 2000 Tacoma PreRunner with the 5VZ-FE engine and an automatic trans:

    I've had it for awhile now... since 2005. It was my father's before that. He's the second owner... we think the first added the TRD decals. You'll notice they're in the wrong place :p No, this truck doesn't have a diff locker. So technically it's NOT a TRD if I understand right. My pops added a tow kit, and I've recently installed some Bilstein 1500's on the front:

    I coated the springs myself. Other than that and an air intake, it's pretty much stock.

    I've never really been that active with online communities because this truck has pretty much been my workhorse and not a hobby. I've considered converting to 4x4 because I know the PreRunner has all the provisions to install the goodies, but never got around to it.

    The truck has a lot of miles on it now... and some trans problems. So I have motivation to post and ask questions. Maybe even upgrade to that 4x4 setup I've always wanted.

    But I figured I'd introduce myself here first.
