    Yeah I think I might do a bright white led or make the projector black. Don't want trouble with law enforcement on stupid thing

    Ya... it's a pain in the ass.
    I really like the idea of just enough glow to illuminate the lenses when the lights are off, but white just doesn't have the desired effect. Red and blue are cop colors, green... might be able to get away with that, but there's not too many green Tacomas.

    Wonder what CHP would say about DSM?

    they sell uv halos. Those are cool. you can find them and color changing halos AND grille lights at aac
