    I'm just trying to figure out what the circled part is and if it needs to be replaced/serviced at a given interval or not.

    looks like a filter of some sort. all that rubber tubing makes me think its part of the PCV??

    I dont have a V6. Where do the tubes run to?

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    its a filter on one of the hoses to the VSV. No replacement for it is listed in the FSM.

    Thats a knuter valve.

    You will need to buy a left handed crescent wrench to work on that.

    I would just leave it for the dealer to service for you.

    ahh. Thinking about it PCV dont typically have a filter. Runs straight from top of the motor to intake tubing.
