I'm thinking about getting a Bestop softshell topper, anybody have these that can seal the deal or talk me out of it? I haul a ton of wood in the fall and do some atv stuff throughout the year. I think the convenience of the softshell makes sense. Opinions?

If you use your bed and want protection when you need it then the Bestop is great. I used mine for a couple of years and the only reason I sold it was due to the fact I found it easier to haul everything in my trailer so I bought a Leer.

I have a Softopper. It's my 2nd one. Sold the Leer because it was too heavy, PITA to put on/take off. I too ride ATV's and haul stuff enough to get sick of taking a heavy fiberglass cap off. Softopper or Bestop, they are still awesome. Get it.

I thought those things routinely blew off at 70mph? Saw someone's thread about it on here, decided to never get one.

Been riding on the hi-way next to a Tacoma with a softtop at eighty mph, didn't move a bit.

I've hit 90 in heavy New Mexico crosswinds with my softopper and it didn't flinch. Can't vouch for bestop but I'd imagine performance is similar.
