Why do gas cans suck ass now?

I'm having a helluva time tracking down a non-shitty gas can, and i havent been successful.

Do any of you know where to find gas cans that dont have this inferior piece of shit safety nozzle on it?

what happened to the red ones, with yellow/black nozzles and a little yellow flip vent. Those were everywhere, and now i can only find these stupid things

Same here.... That stupid safety nozzle leaks fumes! The one with the little yellow breather vent poors gas so much faster too!

Just ordered my new water bottle, awesome!

 

I got one from ACE and as far as new safety features go, it's not bad. It's got a lever you hold down instead of that stupid ass thing you're looking at. It doesn't leak and actually pours about as fast as my old non-CARB compliant can. It's got a clear/white hose with a black lever thing at the base to start/stop flow.

 

i hate the new hell of crap gas can nozzels.....
i flip them upside down and just use it as a cap

 

No leak, no spill and safe? I bought one of those red metal ones from 4 Wheel Parts and it leaked all over the bed of my truck. POS! Returned it.

 

^This. They sell them at Cycle Gear too, I think. Mine has never leaked.

 

Because everyone sued the hell out of the last company who made the red cans because they were retarded and blew themselves to hell when they'd dump it on fires and stuff.

The EPA really has some backwards logic sometimes.

Oh no, it takes 5 seconds to put the cap on! That's so much vapor pollution!

It literally takes over 10 minutes to pour out two cans of diesel from these retarded spouts. Let's see, vapors escaping from tractor tank for over ten minutes versus a minute and a half plus the 10 seconds to cap two spouts, uhh wait, is that polluting more? Nah can't be.



edit: wait a minute. They won't make working spouts because they kept getting sued for the idiotic ideas of idiots?! That's even more stupid!

I have looked high and low but can't find any. All these self venting nozzles are shit. Anyone remember the cans with the simple nozzle and vent on the back of the can that had a plug that you pulled off and the gas actually flowed out nicely? Those were the best, used to have a bunch of them, but as with anything, time took it's toll on them and now I am stuck with all these crappy new kind.

 

I can still buy them..how much of a markup is fair when shipping to you?
