aal question...??

so i just got done installing the aal from Toytec and decided to take measurements..the aal are posted at 2" of lift so i was thinking that was gonna be max...well I just took the measurements and it went from 36.5" to 40" and 36.75" to 40"! Is this normal?? will it go down a bit after driving or something, i hope so. The back is so high now. Well now I need to order the extended brake line, any input would be appreciated guys..

 

It will settle after some time. I don't have any measurments to compare, as I had the TSB done and they didn't have the aal for trucks with the TSB at that time.

 

you should be ok on the brake line.....just make sure it isnt getting stretched too bad. if you installed the stainless/braided extended brake lines tho...you'd like them....way better brake feel. as far as the springs....give them a couple of weeks, they will definitely settle a bit.

 

thanks guys, it just caught me off guard how high it was...and yea Will the brake line is pretty stretched, I just ordered it now, hopefully here by Tuesday.

 

cool man. probably better to have anyway........you'll like how firm the brakes feel after the install.

 

Yeah...The stainless lines will help pedal feel either way and if you intend to wheel at all- They are a good idea.

And it's been said- They will settle...Give it some time.
