so my freinds a fucking idiot and i was installing the lighted 4x4 switch and told him i could do it well he thinks he knows everything and without me knowing cut the green and white wire on the ac controls harness to close to the end of the harness where all the wires go into the white end that clips into the back of the ac controls now i cant splice the wires back together is there anything i can do.......

the only thing i can think of is either take out the rest of the green and white wire and put in a new wire of get any same gauge hot wire and splice into the little bit of wire coming out of the white clip and splice that back to the green and white wire so i can power my lighted 4x4 switch thank you guy i know this is wordy and not specific sorry guys

You guys are looking at this all wrong! Tell your friend he really screwed up and the only way to fix it is to have him pay for a new A/C controls assembly and wiring harness. That should be at least a couple hundred bucks, tell him you'll split it with him after making him feel bad about it, still beat his ass for being a moron, then fix it like PSUTaco85 said and pocket the cash :D

Too many to list. See build page. Link in signature
That's an easy fix with a drop of solder and an inch of shrink tube per wire. Really don't even need to unpin the wires if your good at soldering ;)

There's a process to get the pins out. I've never been good at it

You can get wire at any auto parts store. For the A/C controls, those are small wires so 20 gauge would be plenty thick enough.
