    Just update for all of you helping me out here. First of all thanks for the great info!
    So I had a leaf spring added at a local welding and suspension shop, not a bad price either at $200. I then bought and installed some billy 5100's.
    I drove it out on I-40 where the freeway caused my bed to bounce like mad. Well, it still bounces, but now it feels like the whole truck bouncing instead of just the bed. Also, it seems a bit smoother that what it was before, definitely more tolerable. I think with the added spring and new shocks, I will be more comfortable towing my new travel trailer. It weights about 5000# loaded. I will know soon as we are taking her out this weekend for a short camping trip.
