Rev controlled RGB cluster lights?

So I was thinking of swapping the LED's in my gauge cluster, and I was wondering if it was possible to use RGB LED's and have it so that from 0-2500 rpm, the lights were blue, then from 2500-about 5000, the lights turned orange, then anything above 5000, the lights turned red. The orange would be to alert me to decreasing fuel efficiency, and the red would alert me that i'm pushing the truck too damn hard
Has anyone done that, or know if its possible?
