Looking to buy a Tacoma access cab, Sport or TRD, 2008 -09. Seeing some of the prices I was wondering how much more a 2013 would be? Wondering how many people bought ne vs used. Thanks

My truck is a third vehicle so I was considering buying used, but I quickly went the new route because of the small difference in price between new and used. For an addt'l $5K I could have a new truck vs. one two or three years old with 30-40,000 miles on it. Toyota's hold their resale value like no other. Good luck!

http://www.cargurus.com/ i would never buy new becuase im cheap and like getting good deals. check this website out and it will take an instant market value of all the vehicles and list them in order of the best to worst deal. its a toyota and it will hold its resale value but will also last twice as long as anything else so i dont worry about miles. bout my 05 DC SB 4.0 with 142k on it and have put 22k on it since i got it last feb and ill ive had to do is replace a u joint. the guy i bought it from had just put in new plugs and had the EFI looked at and tweaked i think but no real maintenance IMHO for a truck with almost 170k on it, if it was a checy or dodge i'd be lookin for a tranny about now.

I thought i was gunna go used.... but after finding out resale was 22-24k with 2-3 year old and 30,000 I bought new. Paid 26,300+ttl for a 2012 v6 access 4x4. Do not regret it at all. Plus if i wanted to sell it in 2 years I will get alot more money back on a 2 year old truck with one owner than a 5 year old truck on it's 2nd owner. Just my $0.02 hope it helps.
