Same here. I don't want to fill the entire wheel well either. Thinking of getting 17" rims and 265/70/17. But I want Duratracs, which to be on the safe side, my rims can only be 8.5" wide, which limits my rim selection and eliminates the rims I really wanted. I need to build a friggin flow chart:D.

Well, had a vibe at 20 mph so crawled up under to put on the OME Carrier Bearing drop. While I was under there discovered the installer pinched or poked a hole in my outer passenger side cv boot. Callled him and he said he would make it good and replace the boot on Wednesday. It's a very small hole and its only been on the pavement, so just replacing the boot should do it.
Also have a noise going over speed bumps. I think the passenger side strut is rubbing the swaybar....but the driver side clears no problem:confused:
Oh, and still have the vibe.

Other than that, its all good.

Install shop put a new cv boot on Wednesday. Ordered a CB drop bracket from Beefed Taco/Streetacos same day, hoping to fix my vibe. Moving my youngest out to his own apartment tomorrow. Went out and picked up a 6 x 16 heavy duty trailer from a buddy for the move. Made my Taco squat by an inch (only have the AAL right now). No friggin vibe. Fingers crossed that's a good sign Beefed Bracket will do it.

So the OME CB drop didn't do it for you? Is the Beefed Taco bracket suppose to give more of a drop?

ah-ha! Good to know. I have a very faint vibe at like 15mph. Even with my OME CB drop, my driveshaft length is not back to stock length. There was 9/32" difference from pre to post lift.

Thats the exact same lift I have. I opted for the 265/75R16. I think they look good without having to do new wheels, and cutting. I really dont want to have to cut anything. Also flipping the carrier bearing fixed all my vibes.

Those tires do look good. Good to see since I'm looking at 265/70/17...Basically the same size.
