Does anyone know what the difference in the exhaust system on a regular cab 4x4 tacoma and a extended cab tacoma? Is it only the distance between the cat and the muffler? I want to get a split dual flowmaster but they say it wont fit the reg cab but I think the muffler and tailpipe are the same.

The Flowmaster kit bolts right onto a DCSB or an Access Cab, and it includes an extension pipe for a DCLB. The Regualar Cab exhaust is shorter so it will not fit without modification.

IMO, go to an exhaust shop and have them help you out. You can have custom duals bent up for probably cheaper than the Flowmaster kit. Some people, including myself, will tell you to stay away from Flowmaster. I don't like their quality and it actually hinders performance on these trucks.

Buy the muffler you want and go to an exhaust shop. I've had the same guy do his custom thing on three trucks and he always tucks it up better, and provides whatever need be, for a lot cheaper. Also, get a MagnaFlow or something other than FlowMaster IMO
