Need some help

So I really want to get a new exhaust on my 2012 V6. But i have two things i need some help with.

1. My dad probably wouldn't let me spend my money on it, because it doesn't do much for you other than sound/looks (maybe add a couple HP but nothing that he would think is worth it, since i'm a teenager ) So what reasons could I convince him to let me get one?

2. If I want to get one, what would be a good one that isn't too loud, I just want it to sound a little bit meaner, you know what I mean? I don't want it to be annoying loud.

If its your cash shouldn't you be able to spend it on what you want? lol

I've got the TRD cat back exhaust and it's not that loud at all, it has a deep purrr sound not so much of a meaner side lol It also has a nice tip to it but that's my suggestion.
