You know what, now that I'm thinking about it? You know what BURNED me up? My son's kindergarten teacher told the class that Santa did not exist. You know how many kids ran home crying and accusing their parents of lying to them??

Who DAHELL is she to tell someone else' kid that?? Who is SHE to take away a childhood fantasy? I had a lot of explaining to do. So every year at Christmas time, my son would tell the other one that "Mom lies, dont believe her."

That's how I came up with the "If you dont' believe, he won't come" thing.

Ma'am, you know I love you, but Santa, is a "fagguzi"! ;)
    :)
You must be not be very good at reading comprehension. Again: "The first night I slept with my just dumped ex gf" as in the VERY first night that she and I were intimate. BTW, that night she used me as much as I used her. In case you have not notice, when having sex it takes two to tango. Unless were a talking about you, I guess.

BTW, nothing "macho" about it. If your physical conditioning will not allow, for such a "rump" don't get so angry that others are able. Get yourself in top physical shape, and enjoy it's many benefits. Oh, and get some reading comprehension courses, you need those more than those "clinical counseling" courses.

One last thing, so you are going to tell me, WITHOUT KNOWING me, that sex has NOT helped me with MY depression? Gosh, I'd love to see what kind of "clairvoyant" training you must have earned!

    OK, you win.

Now get yourself booked on Oprah and let the world know that you have found the cure for clinical depression...and it's sex.

All these brilliant minds studing the issue for 100 years...millions of dollars spent...countless hours and sacrifice looking for help for those with debilitating clinical depression....

and The Driver figured it out in the bedroom with his ex girl friend...who wasn't his ex girl friend at the time..."five times"

now, the question remains??? will one time work? two times? how about masterbation? must it include pornography? and if not multiple times...how about one time with multiple partners???

    what's the word doc? :D

Doin something that I truely enjoy. For me shooting my bow or spending a day at the shooting range really help when Im in a funk. Its really a matter of doing something that forces me to focus on the task at hand and forgetting about the other crap. When I was in college I ended up on some depression meds. I needed them but I wasnt way out there depressed just a little bit. Once I came off of them I found things I liked doing where I was. There wasnt much hunting/shooting where I went to college but I found the fishing was excellent and I spent every free moment fishing or at the gym. Those things really helped me keep a clear mind and allowed me to focus on the things at hand. Namely school.

Larry and Raph...this is no time to argue about your difference in opinions...as I read it you both have very valid points. Sex may be it for Raph and not for you Larry. There are different ways to handle stress and depression, one may not work for another. Oh well. Let's try to help the OP out by giving positive suggestions for him to try, Larry's way may work great...get in touch with your faith, for me it's GOD, first and foremost.
If sex is what get's Raph out of the depression funk, then great...he's found something that works for him!! OP needs to try several of the suggestions put out there and find what works for HIM!

When I'm depressed/stressed, I just go to work. At work, I'm too busy to worry about the things that bring me down. I used to be medicated for depression/Anxiety Disorder/anger issues. It worked for a while, but then it wore off. Things got worse. I quit taking my meds seven months ago now, and I've never been happier in my life. Although that might be because I've got a real job now to add to my two side jobs. (I now work construction, do a newspaper route, and haul scrap metal.)
So yeah, I think just working all the time really helps me. I've never been happier.

Also, know that things get better. You'll get used to whatever becomes of your life. (School, work, etc.) The things that stress you out will come to pass/you will get so used to it that it won't stress you any more. Just don't let these stressors run your life.

    Hope this helps, man.

I know enough to know that a little advice won't solve the problem. It's not a logical problem with a logical resolve. I also don't think it is depression, just the blues.
