This morning the low tire pressure light came on. I have had the spiral cable recall done on the truck not long ago. Could that be a possible reason that the low tire light is now not going out. I checked the tire pressure and the tires were all at 29 pounds. I have the 15 inch wheels. The recommended tire pressure is 29 pounds front 32 pounds rear and spare. I tried that amount first and the low pressure light blinked and stayed lit. So then I tried a little over 29 each tire. Then I tried to push the tire reset button and the light flashed and stayed lit. What can I do Please help.

Well I am very happy to report. That the low tire pressure light went out. I had worked on every tire and added and took out air. On each tire. Then I found the reset button and the light would still come on and stay on even after a test drive around the block. But I tried to give it a furthr test drive and after a few minutes of driving the light went out. I had worked myself all up and I had just needed to give the car a longer test drive for the system to shut off the light. I am so happy!!:p

many things can affect TP. cold overnight temps/ hot days, slow leak, etc. my light is on, on my Taco because as the TPMS got corroded and failed/broke I didn't replace them. Been driving for 40+ years without them, so I don't need to spend hundreds of dollars to have a light tell me my tires are low. I check them weekly with a gauge in the winter and monthly with a gauge in summer.
