I want to detail my new truck, wash, clay bar, polish and seal!! I am going to a detailers for this, but I want to provide the polish and sealant, and want some opinions as to which products in your opinion will work the best. Leaning towards Mcgiuars but open to your experiences here.Just a polish and sealant! Also heard Autoglym products are kick ass? Fire away!

    Personally like using:

Menzerna, Sonax, and Prima brand products. Also love the Griot's Garage 6 inch polisher. I do not have too much experience with their products though.

To maintain my paint I use:
    -Meguiars mild clay
    -Prima Hydro wash
    -Prima Amigo polish
    -Prima Hydro seal

If starting from new, should be all your need to maintain the paint as long as you're washing properly (2 bucket system). Won't go too much into other products, there's too much.

Skip the polish on a brand new truck it should not need it. Clay bar then Klasse All in one followed by 2 coats of Klasse Sealant Gaze. Skip the detailer and do it yourself. I would never trust a detailer on my truck unless they come highly recommended from one of the auto detailing forums. Most guys have no clue what they are doing and use shitty products.

Klasse sounds good, any hassels for a beginner . Read that Sealant Glaze can be temperamental.

Just put the glaze on lightly. This is all I use on my Yota's. Just completed this process on my 2012. I purchased it at the beginning of August. But have used it on my 88' 4runner for years. It still looks like it just rolled of the showroom floor back in 88.

Thank you! Are you putting it on by hand? Do you put it all on at once ,let it dry, then remove,or just small areas at a time? The 88 looks great. Much appreciated.

Klasse is super easy to use. Autogeek has a great selection of detailing products.

    I highly recommend Adams' polishes.
