Is the stock trans cooler up to the task? It looks kinda small it would be easy to switch a lager aftermarket cooler in its place if so what would you put in its place some are rated for gvw and others are not. I will be at max weight for a 500 mile tow over two mountain passes. From seattle to missoula

    Thanks

I don't even have a transcooler. Well I do, but doesn't the Trd sport come with an extra ATF cooler? Along with the engine oil cooler?

    Get a scan gauge.

I will really help you adjust your driving to keep the transmission cooler and you will know if you get to the danger zone.

Just keep it from shifting all the time and you will be ok. And a scan-gauge would be helpful as utard said.
