What are the best winter tires for my 2011 Tacoma, on roads in the North Bay Area? We do a lot of winter driving, in icy/snowy conditions.

Good morning and welcome to TW from the NorCal Bay Area! I can say I am pretty happy with my Goodyear Wrangler M+S tires, though I haven't driven them in snow, I have driven them in plenty of mud and sand, awesome tires.

I have some Cooper Discovery M+S that are studded up. I have them from when I lived in Maine and would go to the ski mountain. This is my second set, now I just put them on to go north in the winter as they are illegal to run them here in eastern maryland.
