Cant take the door panel off!

Ive got an 06 with the crank windows (no power windows or locks) and i cant figure out how to take the crank off. i dont wanna break it by just pulling on it. anyone know how?

 

it's kinda hard to explain on here... But there's a c lip in behind the crank that holds it onto the shaft. There's a special tool for it but I've always used a rag. push in the panel so you can see the ends of the clip.. Then put the rag around the handle from that side and pull on either end till it slips under the handle.. It should grab and push the clip off and the crank will slide right off. Then just put the clip back on the crank before pushing back onto the shaft. I hope this made sense..

They're only a few bucks, any auto parts store has them.
