Yes but in said case, the owner would have known it was a demo... the statement I questioned made it seem like they were tested before they got to the dealer.

I understand your frustration,Thumping sound at the back when you're stopping, annoying sound in the cab,bad gas mileage,compo-shit (plastic) bed and i think it is slower than 1st Generation Tacoma, but we love Tacoma and we all would agree.:D

Oh we knew it was a demo. Yeah they test them at the factory too. To make sure everything works.

It was a demo for the dealership. It was the first year they carried them.

Wrong. 2nd gen is faster than the first gen. I had a 1st gen before my 05. My 05 is better in many ways. So far 117k miles & no problems. And yes I drive it hard and fast. I do 80+ on the freeways. I also tow a boat. I get around 18-20mpg.

That cannot be true. As former president of the South Carolina Probe Owners Club (SCProbes), there is no way a Ford Probe gave you zero problems...no way lol. I owned a 93 Probe GT for 9 years...that car comes from the factory a problem. :(

That's because Dodge doesn't have enough people buying their "vehicles" to be able to pay for warranty parts so they blame YOU!!! Damn Dodge...:D

And I beat you all with this: (the worst pos in the world)

I'm working on it, I am obligated (forced) to try and get it fixed at a third dealer who says they can fix 80% of what's wrong with it...I'm assuming that's not the brakes, transmission, or electrical. So once that doesn't get fixed and I get it back next Saturday it starts the process of going bye bye.
You see my craigslist thread with the 09 white Sport DC SB and the mods it has on it??? Cause if you didn't...look damnit! :p

Well ill tell ya a story
    I had a 06 Tacoma four banger.LEMON, LEMON LEMON

Clutch, TO Bearing, Pressure plate shit the bed at 22K,. Dealer said it was the way I drove it. He was way overdue for a urinalysis. Ive been driving standard for 40 years. I had an 88 MAZDA p-up for 11 years with the Original clutch.
Next: the Tacos paint was so soft you could scratch it off with your fingernail, again the dealer was no help.
Next: the sunvisors wouldnt stay up.
The CD player sucked, the cd's ejected automatically.
Gas milage wasnt all that great maybe 16 per gal.
Tires were shit canned at 10K

It was just a Monday made Lemon.

So far my new 09 is working out just fine.

I like Tacomas. But you can get a lemon with anything.
