They said it was going to take 2 weeks, 5 weeks later it's on, but i'm happy...now it's just waiting for the suspension parts....

That doesn't look bad. I just got one too. I've never been a fan of the higher than cab, but damn, yours looks really good! Nice choice, sharp truck.

What suspension stuff are you getting?

@ Scott...I was never a fan either...of caps and especially the higher ones. But i camp alot, and I travel between my stations at work sometimes and I don't want my dirty bunker gear inside my cab....My buddy who's on a neighboring department has a cap and It kind of grew on me after a while...

The suspension i'm waiting on is an OME with dakars and Total chaos UCA's...Originally I wanted to keep the stock hieght, but I wasn't foolin anybody, so I went for it...should be in late next week or so....

I like those caps except for the rubber molding around the window, makes it look old school compared to the flush ones

I have the same cap, but on a access cab. That little extra head room really is nice if you sleep back there.

@ Jim, specs sent...thanks for the likes everyone. I dig it so far. We've had some good rain here the past two days and not so much as a drip inside...

I have the ARE equivilent and really like that look on the DCSB. I think it looks sharp!

I'd see if you can find some rubber covers for the handles. They seem to keep the salt and crap out of the locks. I also dosed mine with PB Blaster as a precautionary. My cap is off a 2006 Tacoma and the lock tumbler still works good as new.
