Hey guys, I am new on here. Finally joined the modern age and joined a forum. Having trouble starting my truck. 120,000 almost all original everything, no issues thus far and only routine maintenance, brakes, oil change, ect... So here is the problem, a few months a go my truck had issues starting. I trout the efi fuse may have blown, so when I checked it, fine, replaced it, truck starts! Went for a few more starts and wouldn't start. Ran a bottle of fuel injector though the engine and all problems stopped, started up again and put another bottle of fuel injector cleaner through it, no joy. Truck won't start. The motor cranks, and I can feel air being pushed out the exhaust. Spark plugs are fine and spark. I think it may be the fuel injectors, but before I shell out the money for them, I want a second opinion. Any ideas, ever had this problem?

    Tanks for your help!

If you have a transponder (chip) key, make sure the blinking light below the radio goes out when you insert the key into the ignition. If it keeps blinking there is an issue recognizing the transponder. If the light goes out when you insert the key, I'd be suspecting the fuel pump or fuel pump relay, if the terminals in the fuse panel are good. If it runs fine once started, you can save your money on injectors, you're barking up the wrong tree there.

Hmm, I had assumed it might have been a 2nd gen since it was posted in the 2nd gen section, but it looks like you may be correct, a 2002?

OP, if its a 2002, post in the 1st gen section.
