    Too few to list.
I owned a 2003 Silverado ext cab 4x4 lifted on RCD riding on 35". Given me no problems the 4 years that I've owned it. Got about 15 city and about 17+ hwy. That was running on all 8 cylinders before they put in the turning off cyl tech for better mpgs.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Personally I've never been a fan of the Silverado line, ever since they dumped the C/K trucks it started going downhill. Only truck GM makes now that I respect is the Duramax mainly for it's Allison transmission. My Dad had an 03 green Silverado that was supposed to do good on gas, turns out it got 12mpg, was underpowered, and lots of the interior components started to rattle after about a year of use. He traded it for the Duramax and never looked back. Before the Silverado, we had a 95 C/K half ton that was an awesome truck. It had the fuel injected 350 and consistently got into the 20s mpg wise. Not to mention that body style was one of the best looking in my opinion. I've never driven a Tundra, but have heard that the 5.7 is a beast of a motor and is quite a hot rod. Only thing that deters me from the Tundra is the looks of it, its really fugly imo. I would go F150 or Ram 1500 if I was looking into a fullsize.

Had an 09 Denali that was nothing but trouble. Dumped it and returned to Toyota. I'm never leaving!

I know you said your against ford but they have so many promotions and price cut my cozin just bought the 2012 ford f150 for 35 k the Eco boost and it is an amazing truck if I had the money my taco would be siting o the ford lot. So much power one of the best motors on the market right now if not the best. And he just put rims and a/ts on it and he gets 18 city and 16 city if he drives like an ass. Towing it is outstanding I would deffanitly go check it out. That would be the only other gas truck I would buy.

My brother in law has a Silverado with the 6 banger, likes it but says it only gets 15mpg city.

Not too sure of the full size as I don't want one, just more than I'll ever need and need reasonable fuel mileage. However, I just traded my 2006 Chevy Colorado for a 2010 Tacoma regular cab. I fell victim to the P0300 head issue those trucks had and the dealer banged me for almost 2 grand for other repairs that the head failure caused.

Chevy's are notorious for electrical problems based upon poor grounding and therefore overload their circuits at unusual points. Fords are at least consistent. My dad has driven them since 1976, traded every 6-8 years, and has never had a major mechanical issue. His latest is a F-350 and quite frankly I really like it. I myself have both a '12 Tacoma and a Chevy, but my Chevy is a '72...

I think the new tundras are overpriced. I'm sure they are nice trucks though. If goin gas get the tundra. If diesel get the duramax. I've heard they are great motors and the transmission seem to be good from what I hear. The only problems I see with Chevys is their fuel pumps are terrible

Fortunately, the fuel pump is not the typical GM in-tank pump on the Duramax.

A lot of guys add a lift pump on the frame when they add aux filtration, but the stock system, everything is handled by the IP.
