Installing a transfer case on a pre-runner?

hello all,
i am not sure if this has ever been discussed, if it has my appologies.

i work in emergency response and i am often sent into national disasters. we pack to live with no outside services for 7-14 days. usually i can get by using several inverters for my power needs, but sometimes i have to bring a generator.

if you ever used a generator you know the fuel cost is UNREAL!

i aquired a belt driven generator and a pet project of mine has been to maybe take a transfer case from a 4x4 tacoma and mount the belt driven generator to it.

i have 2 questions:

- are the transfer cases bolt on?
- in my jeep there is a mad kit to allow only front wheel drive, is there a mod kit for 2nd gen tacomas to allow only front wheel drive from transfer case? that would allow me to run the generator off of the transfer case

Get a 4x4 trans with transfer case.

Or, if you really want front dig capabilities, buy an atlas. It's not possible with a tacoma case.
