Good evening all! I am the proud owner of a 2013 Taco. First time owner and first thread on here. This site has been more than helpful in the past few weeks. My question is if anyone has tried fitting a 2012 intake kit on the 2013's. I cant imagine the engine being any different...it doesnt matter what brand but I did contact k&n and they said it wont work..or at least they havent tried. Anyone else have any luck? Thanks.

The Airaid for the '12+ gets pretty good gains, and avoids a lot of heat soak from the engine bay, since it is encapsulated.

    airaid cai, magnaflow cat-back
Put Airaid on my 2012, was a bit of work(relocate air pump, extend wiring),
but not too bad. At same time installed Magnaflow catback. Was hoping to get a little mileage boost. Haven't
driven enough to really check mileage but seems much better throttle response and more power(I'm just a rookie tinkerer). Fun to drive.D

FYI...the 2013 air pump has 4 wires not 2 like the 2012's so some fab will need to be done

Just got a 2013 myself. I say wait till TRD comes out with one. That way you know its designed for our trucks and don't have any worries. Till then, just get the TRD air filter. Thats my plan.
