Billy 5100's and 1" rear block. Falken 265/65/18 Wild Peak AT. Audio--Kicker 6x9's and 6.5's hooked to 4ch Alpine. Audiobahn 8's subs to Kicker mono. JVC headunit.
I recently bought a 12 DCSB with a non JBL radio with bluetooth and XM with steering wheel controls. I am in the market for a new reciver. I have purchased Kicker 6x9's/6.5's, stinger amp install kit, 2012 DD metra dash kit with harness and a steering wheel interface. I will be hooking the HU up to a slightly old bazooka 4ch amp. I am wanting to purchase a nav unit with sirius/xm capability. Will I be able to use the factory xm antenna (shark fin) or will I have to run one of those magnetic ones that come with the new HU? The HU's I am considering are the Pioneer AVIC-X940BT and the Kenwood DNX6180. Any info will help out. My goal is to eventually purchase a dual 10" box with kicker subs and run all speakers/subs off of one Kicker 5ch.

Also, do you know if there is a way to make the factory MIC work with a aftermarket bluetooth capable HU?

Good luck with this one. I tore it all apart to see if I could and I can't find an option.

The mic's are pretty easy to hid for aftermarket HU's
