Hi everyone. Ive been lurking for over a month, and I have to say that this forum rules. Im really happy that i finally have a truck to put all my lurker love into!

This is not an actual representation of my stoked face, the salesmen didn't tell me when he was taking the photo!

So I finally traded in my 2008 Subaru Impreza for this 2010 green/gray DCSB. Im really happy to have the truck I should have gotten in the first place. I have the TRD 4x4 with an e-locker, DSC, RSCA, ipod, bluetooth and a bunch of other acronyms that dont matter.

I live and work in LA, but I get out of town as frequently as possible. I am hoping to figure out a good camping solution ASAP. Leaning towards the besttop/softtopper, because I think the green truck would look badass with a tan safari top! I know that most solutions will suck because I have the short bed and I'm 6'2". One buddy has the Eezi-awn attached to the cargo rack and hes stoked, another bud is going with the camper top. Im just glad that theres tons of options, and I will be figuring out something soon.

My main goal for the truck, is to have something that is reliable, but able to explore and get into some mild off-roading. This would involve improving the handling and ride of the truck when offroad as much as possible without going to fiberglass flares. Mid-travel. Thinking the Icon stage 4 kit would be sweet, and it seems like its as gnarly as I could go without getting all pre-runner looking. I would also add some improved-clearance bumpers and rock sliders eventually. The Demello and Allpro products look badass, but thats just what I have initially decided upon. Definitely open to opinions.

Either way, its great to have another 4x4. Thought I would include a shot of my my top bitch, the 1970 International Harvester Scout 800 Aristocrat.

    Cheers dudes!
