How Flexible Is The Body Paint?

I ask cause I had to flex (bend) my rear end bed sides to allow room for the bolts on my all pro bed side protectors. It was like this on both sides. This little corner here waffled a bit. I can't tell if any paint cracked on the backside or not cause I had to do the bending once the bumper was mounted.

 

Should be fine. I dont see anything amiss there.

 

In response to the question title, paint that is normally applied to the body panels has a very small amount of "flexibility" and is really more of an allowance to expand and contract with changes in temperature. Additives are put into paint and clear coats that are applied to "flexible" panels such as plastic bumper covers to allow for more "bend".
