I have a 2010 V6. When I went to change the front axle fluid at 30,000k I noticed the oil pan was wet. I wiped it off and thought is was the rear main seal but it actually looks like the edge of the pan gasket is leaking. Is it a pain in the butt to change and does it have an actual gasket or just sealer?

Timing chain cover gasket is a common leak on the V6's. Clean the engine and watch for the point of seepage. Remember that oil flows down and back.

Are you still under factory warranty?

If yes....take it to the dealer!

And actually..... do some research. But that might fall under 'powertrain' warranty and you could be covered up to 6/100k.
