    2012 DC TRD Off Road
    Hello,

I am looking to see if anyone can help me.... I have a 2012 DC TRD Off Road and I'm looking to swap out my 16" TRD rims for some FJ Cruiser 16" TRD rims. The dealership takes TRD FJ rims and powder coats them black and gives you the black center cap (trail team replica). Cost around $900.

The question I have is will these rims fit my tacoma. The tacoma rims has 5.5" backspacing and +30 mm of offset. The FJ rim has +15 mm of offset. Unknown backspacing (I think it may be 4.5"). Will these rims fit my stock TRD tires without any issues? Also, will the difference in offset/ backspacing push the wheel out. If so, will there be any issues with rubbing?

Thanks in advance for the help.

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
Yes they'll fit your truck with your stock tires (assuming your current wheels are 16").

The FJ wheels are 4.5BS and will clear your calipers as well. You won't have any rubbing issues until you lift it and put bigger tires on. Even then some minor trimming will be required and that's it.
