I have been doing a lot of research on the different suspension combinations for my 2013 tacoma, i originally wanted to lift it 6 inches but the cost was way too much. So my questions are:
What is the best mid range lift height? 3 inch? 3.5 inch? 4inch? and for this lift do i NEED 18inch rims? or can i still run the stock rim/tire combo till i have the money for new ones.

Also I've seen the kits you can buy, the spacers, maybe new shocks. But i read somewhere that there is a combination of coil overs, spacers, and control arms that allow a 4 inch lift. What is this combination?

Also what is the best quality mid range lift? I'm looking for 90% daily drive, (snow weather) so i want it to keep its ride, or even improve it. But be able to head off road to trail ride with ease.

One thing i will put in here is do not do spacers it might be cheap but the ride will be shit and you just bought a nice truck so do it right the first time. I like my 3 inch lift and i probably wouldnt go anymore.
The 6inch is bitchin on the new trucks but like you said it is big bucks.

Avoid spacers. No need for 18" wheels. Checkout Toytec for either one of their kits with 5100s or the OME kit. Not good cost effective options for 3" lifts.

If you have a Preruner you could go with spindles.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Are you 4x4 or pre runner? I don't see it in your options and it can really help us inform you on what you would enjoy. There are a few 2" and mostly all are 2.5" with a top plate to make them 3" lifts.
