I have a 2008 TRD Off Road with stock Tires BFGoodrich Rugged Trail T/A Highway All-Season and don't really go off road at all.

Has anyone changed their tires for some other's that maybe work better on freeways, and regular roads? I mean better for noise, wet weather and looks?

    first..love the avatar!

second..there is a tire subsection. read it, and your head will explode from information overload.

me? i got 4 season tires..wife bought them for me. honestly i wanted to hate them, but i cant..i get kick ass highway performance and great mileage. i have wheeled them thru some nasty junk in AZ and ID. but my next tire will be a Cooper AT3. unless my wife "surprises" me again.

    Hey OP,

Based on everything I've read in these forums the stuck Rugged Trails are not much good for anything on-road or off. I recently put some Michelin LTX MS2 all seasons on my TRD OR. So far I love them. Handling and road noise have improved immensely and they kick ass in rain and slush. They look beefy but not too flashy and come with a pretty good warranty (80,000km for us canucks). They're not cheap but like shoes and mattresses, it's always worth paying extra for quality when it comes to tires IMO.
