Got a question concerning my pos two piece drive shaft. I have a Fabtech 6in lift on my truck and my problem is that the center support bearings arent holding up for some reason. I replace them and within 10000 miles im replacing it again. One theory that has come to mind is axle wrap, which my Tacoma definitely has. Because the lift kit came with blocks to raise the rear end i know it changed the geometry of everything and my stock leaf springs arent strong enough to compensate for the extra load, therefor when take off and putting strain on the drivetrain, the axle wraps and causes the second piece of the drive shaft to wreck havoc on the rubber surrounding the bearing. Anyway im getting 6in Deaver Leaf Springs for Christmas to solve my axle wrap/csb problems and to soften the ride a bit. Im also thinking about swapping out the two piece drive unit for a solid one piece unit. In the mean time Christmas is two months away and my center support bearing took a shit on me again. I got a new one and was thinking about filling the hollow rubber with urethane to stiffen up the rubber surrounding the bearing so it will last me until i get my new springs. Any word or input about filling the rubber of the support bearing up with urethane would be much appreciated
