Question for wireing Guru!

I just dropped my truck off at the stealership to have the 10k service done and while there they are gonna try to figure out the dive line vibes and the windshield whistle (2nd time there for the windshield).

Anyway, I looked at the 2013 Tacos on the lot and the couple that I peeked in the windows of had a light stalk with the option to turn the DTRL OFF! I want this stalk (option) in my truck! I hate not being able to turn them off.

So I know I need the stalk from a 13, but I dont know about the "behind the scenes" wireing. Thats where you come in. What wire do I need to jump, cross, cut, rerout or whatever to make this work in my 12 TRD OR?

Thanks for the info, I dont THINK that will work for a 2012 or 2013 due to the turn signals being on the same lights. I didnt read the WHOLE thread I just noticed it was for the earlier model 2nd gen Tacomas. If not I am willing to do something like that, its just I would really rather have the stock look /configuration thing going on. So im exploring my options for now.

 

There are several guys in that thread that have 2012s that have had success with that mod. Check post #101 on page 6 for verification. I'm planning on doing this mod at some point to my 2012.
