I would greatly appreciate any recommendations for a remote start kit for an '07. I live in Montana, so reliability in sub-freezing weather is my primarily concern. Thanks in advance.

I currently have a viper 5701 alarm/remote start on my Tacoma, no issues. Had viper remote start alarms on the last 3 trucks I've bought. I will continue to install viper on any future vehicles I own.

I like the Viper 4704, keyless entry and remote start, no alarm with the two way communication.
Viper, Clifford and Python are all made by DEI and for the most part the same brains with different remotes.

If you have the immobilizer/chipped key, I like the Xpress PKALL for the remote starter, you do not need to leave a key in the truck for it to work after it is programed.
