I am doing a retrofit from TRS on this pickup:

I am installing D2S minis into clear lense housings for it and need someone to tell me what housings they used. I was debating between the Vision X and the Anzo USA ones off of autoanything, and got the Anzo ones.

I baked them for 7 min at 265 degrees per this write up:
    http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pdf/trs_tech/Morimoto_Mini_D2S_Retrofit.pdf

One cracked all the way across the lens and I still can't get either apart.

Bad call on the Anzos apparently . . . Few bucks down the tubes.

What did yall with old pickups use?

Only reason I opted for these is because Autoanything said they are "high quality" compared to the Vision X glass lens ones they sell and I don't have a Ebay account so didn't bother, but now I might . . .

Should I try the Vision X glass lens ones? Or get an Ebay account and buy some junk off there? This is lame haha I was excited to have these finished this weekend

No personal experience to draw from on this, but back in the day (10 years ago) when I worked for Kragen, Sylvania had a full kit all ready to install for those trucks, bolt in, plug and play. I want to say they were like, $500. I don't know if that's still an option, but you might find a setup like that on Ebay, since they can't be very popular now given the age of the truck.

Just needed housings with clear lenses, no bulb or anything. I'm doing a projector retrofit from theretrofitsourcecom Thanks though man, I'm just going to wait until spring now most likely, sucks but I really don't want to be out there in the cold doing this and I have no garage now
