    I'm installing my own carrier bearing.

    I'm doing some of the labor aka pull the DS, install new carrier, and re-install it my self


    EDIT: I've done this carrier 3 times it's way easier off the truck lol

    Mine was far worse. You should slide it forward the drive shaft needs to be shorter on droop.

    That's at ride heigh haha ...I did slide it to the middle . there was a lot of resistance though

    Haha not that much ..but I did have to forse it to the middle then tighten the bolts . I think its good now ...it doesn't sqweel anymore either

    Just as a temporary solution you should get some spray on white lithium grease it real helps. Only use it on your carrier

    ill try that...iin that pic i posted is the bearing not even seated properly? defined said it looks like it slipped off the housing.

    All first gens come with slip yokes, not just prerunners. ;)

    Actually....I might have to get mine shortened. :eek:
    Verdict is still out, I won't be able to tell for sure till it's all buttoned up. But the 50T has a shitton more droop.
