Jim Barkley Toyota Asheville NC

I was wondering if anyone on the board has had any dealings with this dealer. I'm in SC but haven't had much luck with dealers close by. I found one at Jim Barkley in Asheville NC for asking price of $32500 spruce mica already lifted with bigger tires (can't tell exactly what size though) and has TRD Off Road Package also its a 2013. Anyones thoughts or advice is welcome. Thanks

I almost bought a 2012 from them because they are an ARB dealer. I wanted the factory NAV system,TRD OR in silver which they didn't have any in stock so I went elsewhere. Their lifted trucks are mostly spacer lifts. The woman I dealt with through email and phone was very helpful.

Yes, I bought my '11 Taco Access cab from them while getting a very nice trade on my 07 Ram 1500ST. Nice people to deal with and I would not hesitate to buy my next Toyota from them...they are about 50 miles away from us.

The had, on the lot, a truck I was unable to order on line...Access Cab, 4x4, six cylinder and six speed. They had one is white and the SR5 trim level. We looked, test drive, got the financial numbers, got lunch, and bought. I just had to run home and take off my snows and put the stock rims back on.

Asheville is a lovely town with fantastic breweries...

 

Haha might make a little wkend trip out of it.

 

The Downtown Inn on Patton is across the street one way from the Green Man (Jack of the Woods) and from the Thirsty Monk another way...and there are a good 10 more good brewies around to include Asheville Beer and Pizza (Asheville Brewing) two blocks the other way. I usually get rooms at the Downtown for $80 or so.

a couple of my buddies got theirs up there, but its been a couple years back and i believe they didnt get too great of a deal if i remember right.

another of my friends is fixing to buy one from scott clark this weekend, i think he said its 24k? brand new acces cab 4x4 v6. now that seems like a good deal. scott clark toyota has a HUGE inventory of vehicles and they move them all the time

Our family has bought 7 vehicles from jim barkley since about 2005. I picked up a new truck there last saturday. They are always great to deal with. Lori Brady, a sales manager there, always makes the process hassle free as far as getting a fair deal. Also, Asheville makes for great pub crawling.

 

Originally from Asheville. Drove to Greenville, SC to buy in August. They beat the OTD price by over $1000 before TTT.

 

Another vote for Jim Barkley, especially for Lori. Being fiscally conservative I shopped all dealers within 200 miles of Knoxville before buying my 2012 and no one could touch Barkley. I had never before bought "no haggle" but it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience. I wanted a certain color and certain options which of course was not in stock. Lori wrote the order, give me a price I was more than happy with, found the exact truck being built for another dealer and had it diverted to her, and kept me updated on the progress of the shipment until delivery. She even had it hand washed and the dealer decals left off as per my request. I could not be happier. Great truck, great dealer, ask for Lori.
